The Saxons Five Mile Race

Carlton Park, Kelsale, Saxmundham, East of England

A multi-terrain five mile race run on playing field, footpath and trail. The race is chip-timed. The race start, on the Saxmundham Sports Club playing field, is approximately 5 minutes walk from race HQ. There is free car parking at the sports club. Toilets and showers are available. There is a water station at the half way point of the race. Race competitors are not allowed to wear headphones or earphones during the race - doing so will result in disqualification. All race finishers receive a medal and goody bag. Winners prizes are: 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed open Male and Female; 1st placed Male 40/50/60 and 70+; 1st placed Female 40/50/60 and 70+; Team prize of first 3 men; Team prize of first 3 ladies. Refreshments are available to purchase.
