Race Information Sunday 27th September 2026 is the date for Swinton Running Club's annual trail race. Entries will open in early 2026. First run in 2019, we moved the race to the scenic trails of Worsley Woods to take advantage of mixed well maintained pathways and woodland paths. A quick well marshalled course will guarantee an enjoyable event. Part of the Central Lancashire Grand Prix race series. Time & Location Sunday 27th September 2026, 09:00am Race day registration at Beesley Green Community Centre, Greenleach Lane, Roe Green, Worsley, Manchester M28 2QW ​​ The race is a 1-lap course of 5 miles, taking in the City of Salford's largest conservation area, including the lake at Old Warke Dam, the Bridgewater canal and the beauty of Worsley Woods. The race is on both trail, woodlands and sections of path. ​ Whether you’re training for a new challenge or looking for a sociable jog in the fresh countryside air, join us and enjoy a trail race through Worsley.
