A road race as part of the Leicestershire Road Running League (LRRL). This is the 6th running of the event following successful events in September 2021 to 2025.The Rotherby 8 is the final event of the LRRL summer league. It is an 8 mile road race being co-organised by Wreake Runners and Team Anstey Amblers & Runners. The race is being run on Sunday 4th October and will have approximately6500 entrants. Runners will start on Rotherby Lodge Farm and run toward Gaddesby. Upon entering Gaddesby the route goes down Park Hill to the T-Junction with Ashby Road where the route turns left. At the edge of Ashby Folville the route turns left onto Ashby Folville Road and then immediately left over the bridge. The route then continues along Ashby Folville Road up the hill to the junction with Pasture Lane where it turns left onto Pasture Lane. At the end of Pasture Lane in Gaddesby the route turns right onto Rotherby Lane and follows the outward route in reverse back to Rotherby Lodge Farm. Upon arriving at the farm the route finishes on the farm property.
