The Stafford 10K is a well-established and popular event in the Stafford Borough Council's community calendar , attracting runners from across the region and beyond. The event continues to grow year-on-year in terms of participation and local engagement. · In 2022 , the event returned post-COVID with 1,400 runners on the day. · In 2024 , participation grew to over 2,000 entries , with approximately 1,800 runners attending . · In 2025, participation was 2100 entries with 1900 runners taking part on the day. · 2026 at the time of planning entries are at 1500 The race takes place over a certified 10K (6.2-mile) route, starting and finishing on Tenterbanks in Stafford town centre . The course is well supported by residents and spectators, with cheering zones throughout the town and residential sections of the route. This year is the events 10 year anniversary so a route designed by the public has been chosen showing off the best of stafford
